Our Guru joined with some former colleagues to start-up a network of Independent Financial Advisor firms. After 8 years the start-up had grown into a substantial nationwide business with an annual turnover of £27m, coming from 115-member firms with 270 authorised individuals. The success of this business attracted interest across the industry, and it was sold to a competitor in a trade sale.
